PapaNegro is a funk band that since 2000 has pioneered the internet musical sharing and spreading, long before social networks and streaming services were available. They have released four studio albums and have toured many national and international tours, reaching important radio and television exposure.

Since 2012, they have launched their own tour festival called «PapaFest», where they play with local bands in different regions of Chile. In 2014 they performed at the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas, where they played with artists from the North American funk scene such as Roxy Rocka and Ronkat Spearman from «Parliament Funkadelic».

PapaNegro es una banda de funk que desde el 2000 ha sido pionera en difundir su música en internet antes que existieran las redes sociales y los servicios de streaming. Han lanzado 4 álbumes de estudio y realizado giras y apariciones en radio y televisión.

Desde el 2012 han producido el festival itinerante «PapaFest» donde se presentan en distintas regiones de Chile con artistas locales. El 2014 participaron del festival SXSW en Austin, Texas, donde compartieron escenario con artistas de la escena funk norteamericana como Roxy Rocka y Ronkat Spearman, guitarrista de «Parliament Funkadelic».
